Goto Retreat ray offers a private plan for the entire building. We offer a special plan only at Goto Retreat ray, with a sophisticated space designed by designer Yukio Hashimoto and the highest level of service.
We can accommodate weddings, events, corporate use, etc., from 1,450,000 yen (tax included), so please feel free to contact us by e-mail or phone.
- Service charge included / Consumption tax included / No entrance tax
- The above accommodation plan is breakfast per night. Breakfast is Japanese breakfast.
- If you wish to have dinner, a Japanese Kaiseki meal can be prepared with an additional charge of 18,150 yen (tax included) per adult.
- The maximum size of the restaurant is 30 people seated. (Table and chair seating)
- Check-in 15:00 / Check-out 11:00

- Cancellation policy for “partial nights” for reservations of consecutive nights: In the event that a reservation for consecutive nights is cancelled for a portion of the nights, a cancellation fee of “Cancellation Fee Rate” will be charged for each cancelled night.

All rooms have an open-air bath and panoramic ocean view. The open-air baths can be used 24 hours a day while feeling the sea breeze and the sound of waves. Bath amenities and skin care products are made with camellia from Goto.

Goto is also a sacred place for seafood, and because it is a remote island, various agricultural products are also “locally produced,” such as the fantastic Goto beef. The chef searches all over the island for the best local ingredients, and serves them in the most delicious way, while paying respect to the producers. This is the basic philosophy of ray dining.

Inspired by the unique culture at the intersection of East and West, the craft cocktail bar is a perfect mix of Japanese and Western culture that tells the story of Gotō. In addition, a small meditation room located behind the bar allows you to spend time facing yourself as you are through a dialogue with yourself by regulating your breathing.

Under the concept of “nagasaki craft,” the lineup of products is centered on Goto and the surrounding islands. The lineup includes products such as camellia tea, Goto udon noodles, island shochu, processed marine products, craft goods made by local artisans, tableware, and skin care products made from natural island materials, all of which reflect the soul of Goto and Nagasaki.

Designer Yukio Hashimoto’s interior design, crafts by local artists such as glass from Rurian. Each design and product that adorns the space at “ray” carries on the memory of Goto and Nagasaki.
As soon as you enter the main entrance, you can see the panoramic view of the East China Sea through the 6-meter-high glass wall. The big table is made of a single piece of French oak. Resin is used for the top panel to make the big wooden table look like it is filled with water.
