Goto, an island of prayer, where people kept their faith despite the prohibition of Buddhism.
We empathize with its strong and flexible way of life and gain vitality for tomorrow.
Beyond the geopark that erupted 50,000 years ago from the mouth of a demon, a theater of sea and sky unfolds from ancient times.
A space where you will be taken in by the scenery and your mind will be liberated.
Japanese cuisine that makes abundant use of seafood, beef, and island vegetables.
The scent of the sea, the wind of Gotō, and the eternal sky.
The past and future are connected, and where there is light, there is shadow.

The panoramic ocean view seems to envelop you in the horizon.
The light that sometimes shines through the clouds washes your heart like an angel.
The theater of eternity, which people of the past must have gazed upon, can be seen from the 24-hour open-air bath.
Five types of rooms are available, ranging from spacious rooms with a capacity of four persons to rooms for single persons.

Goto is also a sacred place for seafood, and because it is a remote island, various agricultural products are also “locally produced,” such as the fantastic Goto beef. Out of respect for the producers, our chef searches for seasonal ingredients from all over the island. We offer “Hikari no Wagashi” (Japanese cuisine of light), which is a combination of these ingredients and the essence of ray.

The spa treatment is a combination of stillness and movement that opens the doors to the senses, bringing awareness to the true nature of the body, mind, soul, and spirit, and restoring a healthy balance between mind and body while allowing the guests to feel the energy of the island, including the camellias that have grown wild on Gotō since ancient times.
A wide variety of activities are available, such as stained glass, oil pressing, folk songs, cycling, and cruises, to experience the charm of Gotō, which is located within the Saikai National Park.
