concept

Goto, the island of prayer,
where faith was preserved despite persecution.
Draw strength for tomorrow
from its resilience and tenacity.

Lava coast erupting from the demon’s mouth.
Beyond, an ancient theater
of sea and sky unfolds.

The scent of the tide, the wind of Goto.
Savor the blessings of island-grown ingredients
in pure Japanese dishes.

Scenery embraced,
spaces liberated.
Because there was an unwavering wish,
hope now exists here.
